OH YES THEY DID! ROBINSONS ENTERS THE SPOTLIGHT WITH PANTOMIME DEAL
Robinsons – the nation’s favourite squash - has announced a deal with First Family Entertainment (FFE) to sponsor its national pantomime season, Britvic Soft Drinks announced today.
Robinsons will become title sponsor to FFE’s 12 productions playing to over a million people during a six week run from December 2009 to January 2010. The sponsorship will support the traditional panto classics - from Aladdin to Snow White - performing to family audiences from Brighton to Glasgow over the festive season.
FFE – a joint venture between Live Nation and Ambassador Theatre Group – is one of the biggest producers of the panto genre, bringing the best and most diverse talent to the stage: last year with Gareth Gates, Henry Winkler and Cilla Black.
Leslie Davey, Robinsons brand director at Britvic said: “We are thrilled about Robinsons’ involvement in pantomime as it represents the coming together of two great British icons: Robinsons and panto. Panto is one of the quintessentially British family occasions which resonates well with the Robinsons brand. We look forward to working with First Family in making a great season even greater.”
